Industrial Centrifugal And Axial Fans

Belt Driven Fan

Impeller fitted on the end of the shaft, which rests on two separate bearings.

The belt and pulley drive makes it very versatile.

The fan can be adapted for high temperature uses with the addition of a cooling disc.

Impeller Mount On Motor Shaft

The main feature of this arrangement is the direct coupling of the impeller on the end of the shaft.

It has the following advantages:

  • Elimination of the bearings, thus reducing maintenance and saving power as compared to belt-driven fan.
  • Reduced floor space.

Coupling Driven Fan

The impeller is fitted on the end of the shaft which is mounted on two independent bearings. The impeller is connected to the motor by a flexible coupling.

Applications

  • Temperatures beyond 200⁰
  • Corrosive surroundings.
  • Dust filled air.
  • High Powers.
  • It can be easily fitted with
  •  Cooling disc for the shaft.
  • Extra tight sealing for the shaft, etc.
